Holiday gifts for your children:
If you’re wondering how you’ll be able to provide Christmas gifts to your children this year because of financial difficulties you may be having, Big Hearts may be able to help. This program is intended to provide Christmas gifts to children 18 and under living within the boundaries of School District 303.
Watch for the NEEDS ASSESSMENT. This will be pushed out by D303 in school newsletters and by school social workers starting mid August through September 12th. The deadline to submit this form to D303 is September 12th 2025.
DEADLINE TO SUBMIT WISH LISTS TO BIG HEARTS IS OCTOBER 8TH, 2025.
Late entries for this program will NOT be accepted.

BIG HEARTS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have at least 1 child registered in School District 303.
- Children must live within the boundaries of School District 303.
- Children receiving gifts can be newborn-age 18.
- If 18, they must still be enrolled in D303. Children who have graduated do not qualify for this program.
- Your family must be facing significant financial hardship.
NEW *Please note, receiving NEW WINTER COATS is NO LONGER AN OPTION through this program. Contact your D303 social worker for a referral to Big Hearts or other resources for winter gear.

Back-to-School supplies
If you have a child enrolled in D303 and are experiencing financial hardship which prevents you from providing necessities for your children, please reach out to your school social worker. They will determine if you qualify and refer you to us.
BIG HEARTS QUALIFICATIONS:
- Children must be enrolled in D303
- You MUST be experiencing a financial hardship which makes buying back to school supplies for your children difficult.
2025 Program dates:
Enrollment is open
Apply by August 4th
You will receive a confirmation letter by August 6th letting you know your application status.
Backpacks DELIVERED August 11th to each childs school.
How do I get REFERRED to you?
Contact D303 Family & Community Liaison Atlee Smith at atlee.smith@d303.org. She will assist you in filling out the application.

- Children receiving items must be 18 and under living with you within the boundaries of D303.
- If a child in the family is 18 & needs help, they must still be in high school.

January 9th thru May 24th 2025
& Aug 11th thru Oct 31st 2025
How do I get REFERRED to you?
Contact the D303 social worker at your youngest child’s school. They will refer you to us.
