How Big Hearts of Fox Valley Began
Minor and Jennifer Mobley moved to St. Charles from Indiana in 2010 with their two young children. Some of you may know them as the owners of Excel Automotive Repair.
When they opened Excel in 2014, they knew they wanted to do more than just run a business—they wanted to give back to the community that had welcomed their family. One December, as they looked under their Christmas tree at the gifts waiting for their kids, they couldn’t shake the thought of the children in their town who might not have any presents to open on Christmas morning.
From Family Tradition to Community Compassion
Big Hearts of Fox Valley was created in 2014 by the Mobley family as a way to “give back” to their community. It grew quickly, and Big Hearts of Fox Valley NFP was formalized in March 2019 as a 501(c)(3).
