Big Hearts of Fox Valley

Investing in Their Future

Big Hearts of Fox Valley is dedicated to making a difference in our own community by providing essential items to local children in need. If a family in D303 is in need of assistance with back-to-school supplies, we’re here to help families kick off the school year right.

By working closely with D303 school social workers, we can ensure that those in need are referred to us. We take pride in providing sturdy backpacks filled with essential tools to support students in the classroom.

Together, we can make a positive impact on the lives of children in our community.

August 2025

Big Hearts of Fox Valley has successfully completed its annual Back-to-School Program, delivering 184 backpacks filled with grade-appropriate school supplies to students in need across 16 of the 17 schools in St. Charles Community Unit School District 303.

Thanks to the incredible generosity of the community, children facing financial hardship can walk into school on day one feeling equipped, confident, and valued. Each backpack was carefully packed with supplies specific to the student’s grade level, helping remove a major burden for families while restoring hope, dignity, and a sense of belonging.

The Back-to-School Program is one of the year-round initiatives Big Hearts of Fox Valley offers to support local children in need, all of whom are referred by D303 staff.
